Jose Musa, Esq.
Jose Musa is an accomplished attorney with a diverse legal career spanning several roles, including prosecutor, defense attorney, and insurance defense attorney. Originally from Cuba, Jose moved to the United States to pursue higher education and earned a degree from Florida International University (FIU), where he developed a passion for law and justice.
After completing undergraduate studies at FIU, Jose obtained his Juris Doctor in Jacksonville, FL, where Jose went on to become a prosecutor. There, he honed critical skills in litigation and trial preparation, securing justice for the community in numerous criminal cases. His passion for the law led to a successful transition into criminal defense, where he represented clients in high-stakes legal battles, fighting vigorously for their rights.
Throughout his career, Jose has accumulated extensive experience in insurance defense law, managing complex cases and protecting the interests of clients in the insurance industry. With a remarkable track record of dozens of jury trials to verdict, he is well-versed in trial advocacy and courtroom strategy.
Beyond his legal career, Jose is also deeply committed to mentoring the next generation. As the Head Coach of Homer High Basketball, he helps young athletes develop their skills both on and off the court, instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.
With a proven record of success in the courtroom and a passion for helping others, Jose is known for his tenacity, dedication, and strategic approach to every case.
Jose’s favorite things to do are spend time with his children, exercise, and go hiking with his better half, Ana.
